Plant the seeds. Make an impact. Watch them grow.
overview
There are a variety of ways to make an impact on the life of a child through one of the most valuable gifts of all: time. CCVI is home to a historic volunteer program that spans throughout the organization for the past 70 years. When you volunteer at an event or in a classroom, children at CCVI understand that there are advocates for them in the community. They understand that their future is easier with you in it. You can be the difference-maker for CCVI children.
SUPPORT NETWORKS
Since the first child walked in the doors of CCVI in 1952, the need for supportive volunteers has only grown. In fact, it has never been more important. With a network of strong, passionate individuals to provide hands-on assistance, children at CCVI grow to become independent young adults. They thrive because of the role models they met within the walls of the campus. Whether your commitment to hands-on support means joining an events committee and working the finish line at the CCVI Trolley Run or reading stories in a classroom, there’s a place for everyone.
Event Volunteers
Want to hit the ground running as a volunteer? Join the CCVI Trolley Run team to help out at the largest fundraiser of the year.
Classroom Volunteers
Support a CCVI teacher by being a helping hand around the classroom, assisting lessons, or providing support to students that need it.
Student Volunteers
Sometimes a child needs the influence of a young adult. If you’re a student (ages 14+), sign up to assist classes, help at special events, and more.
